Principle:Evacuated tube solar collectors use evacuated tubes to absorb solar energy then transfer energy to heat pipe via aluminum fins. When the heat pipe is heated and working liquid vaporizes and rises to the top of the heat pipe condenser (condenser is inserted into the manifold port inside the solar collector manifold), when the heat pipe condenser meets cold water flow inside the manifold port, the working liquid will cool down and condense as a liquid, returning to the bottom of heat pipe. When heated again it will repeat this process effectively heating the cold glycol inside the manifold.
